Philips HealthWorks announced seven incredible cardiology startups who are participating in Hamburg program.
Cardiovascular diseases are the leading cause of death globally for men and women – more people die annually from cardiovascular diseases than from any other cause. At the same time the costs associated with treating cardiovascular diseases are expected to increase, creating an economic burden for the global health systems. People with cardiovascular disease or who are at high cardiovascular risk need early detection and disease management as appropriate. In order to address this global challenges and help patients throughout their journey in an integrated, personalized and cost-effective way we need a new approach to solution innovation.
