Tehnopol Startup Incubator awaits space technology startups for vigorous growth program
Tehnopol Startup Incubator invites all space technology start-ups and growth companies to apply for the Go2Space-HUB growth program. The aim of the program is to support the rapid growth and development of companies in the field of space technology.
Estonian space technology startups are expected to apply for the Tehnopol Startup Incubator in Tallinn. The program lasts a year and includes work with mentors, training sessions, community events, a comfortable office, and meetings with investors, demo days, and space events to support global growth.
There is also an open call for applications for space startups at the Instituto Pedro Nunes Coimbra, a Portuguese incubation program that lasts a year.
Growth companies also have the opportunity to apply for a 3-month online accelerator program, the content of which will be created in Madrid, Spain.
At the end of the program, mentoring worth 12,000 euros will be distributed among the best companies.
The program is expected to support:
- space-related projects for the digitization of Europe (eg big data, IoT, smart city, smart transport);
- space projects that support sustainable development plans (low carbon future, social impact);
- defense and security space projects (eg cyber, military security, big data, fintech);
- excellence in space technology (the upstream and downstream space sector).
According to Kadri Tammai, head of Tehnopol Startup Incubator, startups applying for the Estonian incubator should have a strong and vigorous growth program. “The space startup that has joined the incubation program will receive an experienced key mentor, support from the best field mentors, participate in a practical training series, gather contacts in the startup community and international investor networks, and use the incubator’s modern open office space,” said Tammai. Today, many companies are unaware of space technologies – various robotics solutions, drones, satellite data, and so on. This is clearly an area on the rise, Kadri Tammai explained.
