We chose Tehnopol because it provides all the necessary infrastructure for a startup, and because TalTech is nearby. When we were starting out, we also needed a garage to develop our equipment, and Tehnopol was the only place where we could get that along with an office. Tehnopol is designed in such a way that technology companies can easily start and operate here. Additionally, there are other similar companies with whom you can chat and exchange experiences during lunch. There are also events, seminars, and other necessary activities taking place here.
You could say that a part of TFTAK’s heart belongs to Tehnopol – we have been operating in this area since the company was founded in 2004. That was already 20 years ago. During this time, TFTAK has moved four times, each time to larger premises. A research lab has specific requirements, and Tehnopol’s facilities have met those needs – during the last move, our rental space grew to 2,500 square meters, half of which is a special project designed specifically for the lab. We really like it here – in addition to the workspaces, the environment is supported by other businesses in the area, from restaurants and services to events in the Tehnopol campus. Companies visiting us often point out how convenient it is to come to us.
We opted for Tehnopol due to its role as a hub of science and innovation, aligning seamlessly with our pharmaceutical company’s focus. The open spaces provided by Tehnopol’s office setup cater perfectly to our needs, fostering a dynamic and collaborative work environment. The network of like-minded companies within the campus allows us to effectively collaborate with both research institutions and technology companies, facilitating valuable partnerships. We have now been operating in the Tehnopol campus for three years. We have chosen the Tehnopol campus as one of the locations for Fujitsu Estonia’s Tallinn office because it offers excellent opportunities for both work and business activities. The space solutions at Tehnopol are functional. The on-site dining options provide delicious lunch possibilities, and the events organized by Tehnopol enrich the daily lives of our employees and their families.
