e-Health Initiative 

The mission for the e-Healthcare Initiative is to educate, promote and activate health and social care institutions in the use of distance-spanning technologies with the goal of providing equal treatment opportunities for everyone. 

The need for the activation of distance-spanning technologies has been announced quite a while ago. Both, the Estonian and Norwegian governments have stated the importance of these kinds of solutions. During the latest pandemic outbreak, it was made especially clear how critical the existence of remote services actually is. This was and is especially relevant in health and social care services. No matter the age, sex or ethnicity – all of us need some kind of medical help at one point. Be it visiting a specialist for a thorough medical check, renewing your prescriptions or just going for a quick consultation with your doctor.
