Coffee Morning: #STARTUPadult
Startups are like crack. Highly addictive, intensely interesting and able to leave your life and health in tatters if you’re not careful. They are fast-paced, high energy and – if you truly believe in the product or service – very, very cool.
One of the joys of the startup is being able to pour yourself into your work and then very quickly seeing tangible results from your efforts. But it is not always Red Bull and roses – especially when when the insidious beasts of miscommunication, burnout and missed deadlines rear their ugly heads.
So how do you balance your fast paced addiction so that your business and your team will thrive and continue to crush it day in and day out; rather than being crushed by it? The answer is to infuse a little bit of that stiff corporate culture into your freewheeling startup life.
Come join us at the Startup Incubator’s Coffee Morning as we talk on the topic of #STARTUPadulting and why sometimes going a little slower can help you go faster!
Your host James Samuel York is an entrepreneur, consultant and is both a proven operator and marketer, having worked with high-growth technology startups across Europe and in his native New York.
