Tehnopol gave the stars to the most spectacular ones

Science Park Tehnopol has a tradition, where we name stars in the sky by people’s names who have contributed to Tehnopol’s work and development.

On the 10th birthday of Tehnopol we named the stars after people, who are closely associated with creating the science park – Marika Priske, Kairi Vaher, Andres Keevallik and Raivo Tamkivi (posthumously).

During the next five-year period, following people gave spectacular contribution and we were honoured to give them the stars at Tehnopol 15 birthday party:

• Külle Tärnov – holding the spirituality of Tehnopol and evolving it, also for creating the community of health technology;
• Jaanus Vahesalu – for keeping and developing good relations between Tehnopol and Tallinn;
• Tea Varrak – for holding the shared values between the university and Tehnopol and being part of creating these relations (including Prototron) and for evolving these passionately;
• Ivar Siimar (EstBAN) – for improving the business angels network and Startup Incubator services for the best;
• Robert Kitt (Swedbank) – for the creation and development of important measure for Estonian startup community – prototyping fund Prototron;
• Astlanda Ehitus (Olaf Herman and Kajar Kruus) – for contributing and constantly developing Tehnopol campus.

Of course, Tehnopol thanks all the other partners, whose contribution to the science park has helped the progress in its services and campus in the past five years!

Science Park Tehnopol
