Week full of entertainment – Tehnopol Entertainment Week 2018

Tehnopol Entertainment Week strikes again and this year we’ll be bigger than ever – Tehnopol is turning 15! 10th-14th of September is full of fun activities from sports and culture to workshops and party at the campus. Come and join us and experience the legendary TEW 2018! And oh, you don’t want to miss the surprises we have for you this year. Be there or… be there! 

We have definitely kept in mind all the sports enthusiasts and on Monday, you can join with your team in volley tournament in Credit24 Arena, where the winner gets the cup, glory and fame! Sporty spirit continues on Tuesday when you can take part in the table tennis tournament. And that is not all! Since Tehnopol has always been a big fan of sports, we are happy to announce that on August 14 a new gym called Gym! is opening its doors and has a little surprise for you during TEW. Stay tuned!

Curious business enthusiasts are welcomed to peek into other businesses on every day of the week during TEW. Visitors from the campus and outside are going to meet with companies like Starship Technologies, Skype, Cybernetica, Thorgate and many others! This is a great way to see how other people make business in an area that interests you or to find a potential job.

On Tuesday you are welcomed to join already traditional Networking Night #24, where Tehnopol Startup Incubator also gives out the hockey stick to three successful startups that have finished their incubation – Transformative AI, SprayPrinter and ChatCreate.

We also have some new and exciting stuff coming up! This year we’ll open Office Cafes and therefore ask you to join in with your company! Cafes in the companies are opened on Wednesday, September 12 from 11.30pm to 1 pm. Grab the opportunity to spend great time with your colleagues and show off your excellent culinary skills. The topic is the versatility of the nations and we are hoping to see different foods and drinks from many nations around the world. For more information, please contact lisbeth@tehnopol.ee.

That is not all for Wednesday! Entertainment continues, as Timo Tarve is leading a fun tech-themed memory game, and the evening will end with popular Tehnopol cinema.

Tehnopol Entertainment Week 2018 culminates with Tehnopol’s 15th birthday party on Thursday evening, where you can celebrate Tehnopol’s jubilee, enjoy good music and food. On Friday, after the celebrations it makes sense to spend the day visiting companies and drinking some delicious smoothies.
