Tehnopol’s whistleblowing channel

As of September 1, 2024, the European Union’s Whistleblower Protection Act regarding violations of labor law came into effect. This law applies to all government institutions, state agencies, and fundamental rights institutions with more than 50 employees.

We highly value ethical standards and always operate in compliance with laws and regulations. Therefore, our internal controls and work processes are designed to prevent and detect misconduct and fraud. Both our employees, clients, and partners can report any suspicious or unethical behavior in our activities or services.

Whistleblowing allows you to confidentially share concerns if you notice something inappropriate. This helps us identify risks early and maintain high ethical standards, ensuring the trust of all stakeholders.

When to use the whistleblowing channel?

The whistleblowing channel is intended solely for reporting suspected or actual violations and should not be used for customer complaints or personal disputes. All reports must be made in good faith.

Let us know if you suspect misconduct, such as human rights violations or offenses like fraudulent, inappropriate, dishonest, illegal, or negligent activities or behaviors (a more detailed list can be found in the law).

How to report potential misconduct non-anonymously?

We strongly encourage non-anonymous reporting and assure you that all reports will be handled with strict confidentiality and security. You can submit your report in writing via email to: vilepuhuja@tehnopol.ee.

When reporting non-anonymously, you will receive a confirmation letter within seven calendar days, and if necessary, we will contact you for additional information.

How to report potential misconduct anonymously?

If you feel unable to share information under your name, it is possible to report anonymously. To ensure anonymity, we have created the email address: anonymous.vilepuhuja@tehnopol.ee.

In the case of an anonymous report, the sender’s address cannot be identified, a dialogue cannot be established, and confirmation of receipt is not possible. The whistleblower’s identity remains anonymous, and it is not possible to respond or provide feedback.

Please note: When sending a report to the anonymous email, make sure that your email signature is removed; otherwise, we cannot guarantee anonymity.

All reports and messages received via the whistleblowing channel will be handled confidentially.
