The aim of Science and Business Park Tehnopol is to support technology based companies to grow and reach the wide world. For this reason, we cooperate with several projects, DIGINNO is one of them.
We have the pleasure to invite you to the DIGINNO Webinar, which will be held on 10 June at 10 o’clock Central European Time (at 11:00 EE) in a virtual room.
The event will focus on DIGINNO initiatives on cross-border services, mainly on concept, integration and realization of Know Your Customer (KYC) and Electronic CMR (eCMR).
Current know your customer (KYC) process is suffocating the economy, e.g. data exchange is slow and fragmented between different entities and non-existent across borders. The same data is asked again and again, it is not exchanged in between obliged entities, it is not exchanged in between obliged entity and the State. The State has most of the data needed to conduct KYC, but it is not accessible to the obliged entities. Billions of euros are spent on conducting KYC, but this outcome and work is not shared and made again and again by other obliged entities.
Despite the ongoing uptake of digitization in the transport sector, almost 99% of all cross-border transport operations in the EU still involve paper-based Consignment note (CMR) at one or another stage of the operation. Both, European Commission and market players, indicate strong pressure towards more simplified, paperless, secured and trusted transport information flow between businesses, customers and authorities.
This webinar gives the opportunity to continue the debate on challenges of implementing and future development of cross-border services.
The DIGINNO-Proto eCMR project of developed in cooperation of Baltic countries and Poland will be presented. Participants will also learn the vision of KYC utility and discuss possible solution on how to make the vision real.
Please register your participation by 5th of June here.
Link to the event will be sent to the participants after the registration.
