Tehnopol Startup Incubator together with Hedman law firm and Sunbase is organising an event on the future of the Internet – Web3, NFTs and DAOs, the restrictions and regulations by the government of Estonia and the possibilities for startups regarding tokenization.
In the first part of the event, Chris Reinberg, the founder of the Estonian web3 community and movement, will do an introduction and share his insights on:
- What is web3 and why Silicon Valley, Big Tech, and leading VCs are obsessed with it?
- Examples of projects that have successfully utilized web3 technologies like tokenization, NFTs, and DAOs.
- Opportunities and risks for creators, startups and companies.
The second part of the event focuses on the web3 situation in Estonia and how it affects the startups. Toomas Seppel from Hedman law firm will share his insights on the latest news from the law makers:
- New regulations in 2022
- Which business models require a license
- Raising capital via tokenization
Event is moderated by Aleksander Gansen, who is the startup founder & mentor, blockchain evangelist, digitising supply chains, NFT collector and lecturer.

About the speakers:
Chris Reinberg has been involved in the field since 2012, more seriously since 2020. He is the co-founder of a web3 development studio Sunbase (sunbase.co), as well the founder of Estonian web3 community and movement (wagmi.ee) which has over 260 members, all of whom are local leaders in the field.
Toomas Seppel is the partner at Hedman law firm. Toomas advises clients on the implementation of new technologies and expansion into new markets as well as on tokenization-based business models. He is a member of the Finance Estonia working group, which gives feedback and makes proposals to the government on new regulations.
